Of course you will remember. Elephants do not forget. Cunt.

@Gary. As a covicted criminal and liar, I do not think you should even be entitled to an opinion. You should have been put to death.

My experience with different churches
(A work in progress)

My entrance and exit from the structure built by people to worship their gods in a building called church.

In my youth I was the only one in my family that Loved the Church and I loved to go to Church.
I became a man and my family that hated the Church found help from the Church leader Andrew Gysi who helped to cover up the lies of those in my family who hated me and the Church.
Any wonder that what happened would lead me to find a personal ...relationship with GOD casting away the evil 'of and in' the Church?

As children my sister and I were invited to the Sunday School classes at the local church, the invite came from many friends and teachers in the community. I remember doing this upon the example set by my paternal Grandmother and the man I recognize as my Grandfather. I also recall having to encourage my mother to allow us to go.

The church in the local community was a shared house of worship, two denominations (the U.C.C. and Lutheran) alternated their worship schedules. I enjoyed going to the Sunday school classes and on occasion I would attend a church service. I chose to worship with the Lutheran congregation for personal reasons and would often stay after Sunday School to enjoy the Adult services. Eventually I would join the choir as I enjoyed singing very much. My love for music afforded me the opportunity to play guitar for the congregation this song I would perform for church was also one I would perform at school for show and tell. There is a story about what happened on that particular day and how that event had changed my life.

During my youth I bought into the concept that all humans were sinners and needed salvation, on many occasions I said the sinners prayer to acquire a right standing in front of GOD. I remember neighbors and friends inviting us to their churches and the theme being to obtain salvation and know that you are saved through the blood of Jesus and the sacrificial gift for no greater love is there than to lay down your life for another and this is what Jesus has done for every soul of our world. Later on in my life the lie would be exposed the explanation to follow in this document.

While I can remember going to my neighbors church, I don't recall the events of that particular day as clearly as when I went to the local Baptist church with friends from the other side of town. I remember that day well because after receiving the gift of salvation we were encouraged to offer something back to GOD for what we had received. Having no money and the request was not about money but more a conviction or promise that we could make to present an outward change for the gift we received and the gift we could give. My gift to GOD was that I would not use profanity in public.

My sister stopped going to church.
My mother would only go to church on special occasions.
My father took communion every sunday at the local club. If I wanted to find dad, I knew where to look.

The U.C.C. church and the Lutheran church divided the Lutherans built a house of worship that they would call their own. I remember the pledges for contributions in order to make this move. Shortly after the church split, I stopped attending as demands for my time made such attendance impractical.

Suddenly I had a renewed interest in going to church, it had everything to do with when I was a Boy Scout.

A Boy Scout is Reverent and in scouting I learned a little about Native American culture, customs and religious beliefs, my paternal Grandmother had an interest in Native American culture. One of the fund raisers was a hoagie sale, It was suggested that some of us boys try selling door to door in town, so I went where I was designated to try and found that knocking on one particular door I would be the answer to a prayer.

    Asha is right

    [quoteheader]Quote from xashax:[/quoteheader]
Well its not as if the rest of the forum is blind. They would be perfectly capable of recognizing my post in its entirety and that you snipped one sentence. Also see Gary's response on other thread.

Quote from southtulsaman:
Wouldn't evolution have to have it's origin from the big bang? It applies.

    Who's they?
Wouldn't evolution have to have it's origin from the big bang?

Not necessarily, as I understand evolution and abiogenesis our Galaxy that gives life to our solar system is created from a big bang, this does not have to include the whole of the Universe having an origin from a singular event. With as much time and space as we have to discover it would be premature to come to such a conclusion about such a vast expanse.
Quote from alphabetsamson
#7 - None of the above. Any questions, professor?
Yes, I had once had the nickname professor, and since you don't like any of the answers that I provided, would you please explain to me what you think would be a more accurate answer.

There is a great divide, on one side there is truth on the other side, (well) it is deep...
Quote from begbear1952:
Don't leave a thread just because Asha or one of the others tells you to. It's up to the OP to keep his own thread on track, and ASHA IS NOT THE OP. Labeling somebody's statements as "hatred" just because she disagrees with them is the worst sort of leftist suppression. "To Siberia with you, you Anti-Revolutionary Infidel!!" NEVER let these people push you around like that. It only feeds their wacked out belief that they have some sort of Moral Mandate to order other people around. Hey that's a good label - since they hate "psycho-lefty" so much, I'll indulge them & just call them by what they really throw at others - M&M's.
Asha is quite right about the topic and the dialogue.
Sinistro and Asha made good points about cultural beliefs, these beliefs do get passed down from one generation to the next, it is hard to break away from the beliefs of your forefathers.

As for the hatred of Muslims, that had no place in this discussion other than a comment, but certainly has nothing to do with the evolution of life other than the phobia created by those who are not enlightened.

The real question becomes will you be allowed to think or do you have to believe as you are taught which is the definition of brainwashing!

Don't think, just believe what I tell you to believe, and give me all of your capital, your possessions, what your grandparents and their parents possessed, all will go to our organization so that we can decide who should get it, certainly not you the bloodline of those before you. -- Sound about correct? Join a church and renounce all love and possessions.

Organized religion and belief has been created to divide, oppress, and corrupt the minds of those around you.
Quote from xashax:
If he wishes to discuss Islam in Europe, then he has every right to do so on another thread. This one was created to discuss the topic of Evolution. I was speaking to Sinistro and my comment did not promote hatred of Muslims in any way but was speaking instead to religious faith and cultural demographics. Gary can make that call.
I'm with you Asha, hatred of Muslims is another topic and is not inclusive to the context of this discussion, it was wrong for Tulsa to try and take this thread in that direction. Worst for Begbear to try and support such a contrivance.

They don't like what they are reading?
Why would they try to derail the topic and subject matter or in the face of the truth they have no better defense?

The best defense is to prevent the promotion of the truth, the truth is offensive to many people, how we can be prosecuted and persecuted for sharing in the truth.
Quote from begbear1952
Furthermore, that appeal to authority still begs the question - what caused it? "It Just Happened By Itself For No Reason" doesn't cut it.
Why not? Did/Does the Universe need a cause?

The Universe always existed, like my GOD.
Quote from furchizedek:
The exact same "faith dealio" comes in for science types. What caused the Big Bang? What came before the Big Bang? And so on. Nor can YOU wrap your head around something that has no starting point. Anyone can say something, it doesn't mean they understand it. If you choose to believe there was no starting point to the universe, explain how it got here then. Both sides are confronted with the same unanswerable questions.
The Universe is a big place, why does it have to have a beginning? The question is not unanswerable, many people choose to refuse to contemplate the obvious answer. It did not have to begin, it always was and always will be. For some they pretend that is not an answer. Please explain.
Quote from southtulsaman
How do we know for certain that the Big Bang itself was not the the beginning of space time as we understand it? Perhaps time began with the Big Bang so the idea of a "before" becomes entirely ineffective.
    ------Clarasha-------------

with no before, you get no big bang. Mathematically you would then need a variable from another reality.
Dealing with one reality is not enough, the followers of Organized religion need multiple realities to exist. Yet their existence has an affect upon those of us in our reality causing great harm is of no consequence to them with alternate realities.

Does god make the bad good?
Quote from regina62:
If there is evolution. Why do we not see things evolving now. Or did it all at once stop?
Evolution is occurring, it is just that you don't see how we are evolving, but consider the evidence from past generations, from pictures of before to what and where we are now here today. Look at the evidence and the health records, soon you will see where and what we are evolving into. What could change and help us hold the status quo?

    Barbarism in Islam

    |<-Back|

Here is a link to a post about barbarism in Islam and how the Australian government is trying to curtail atrocities condemning abuses considered acceptable by clerics of the Islam faith.

Note how the original discussion was tagged for 'cheating' and 'do not to respond'... It kind of points to the fact that there is a bias in the origins of the website.

Bringing truth to the world is a good thing.

Even when a third of the world or more doesn't want to know the actual truth.

Hell from the Holy Bible by god.

A person from India at 24 years of age created this conversation but never referenced the verse and chapter the word came from. Can you find the verse and chapter?

JESUS CHRIST SAID ABOUT HELL AS FOLLOWS!
    "fire"
    "everlasting fire"
    "eternal damnation"
    "hell fire"
    "damnation"
    "damnation of hell"
    "resurrection of damnation"
    "furnace of fire"
"the fire that never shall be quenched"
    "the fire is not quenched"
    "Where their worm dieth not"
    "wailing and gnashing of teeth"
    "weeping and gnashing of teeth"
    "torments"
    "tormented in this flame"
    "place of torment"
    "outer darkness"
    "everlasting punishment"

THE ABOVE SAID ARE THE REFERENCES FOR HELL TOLD BY GOD HIMSELF, WHICH HAS BEEN COLLECTED FROM THE HOLY BIBLE. NOW DO YOU BELIEVE IN HELL?

    Heaven and Hell,
    Gnosisquest (104) 2/14/2007

The latest prophet disclosed to us this remarkable news!

Heaven and hell have been cancelled due to lack of evidence: you are free to go wherever you want!

    Best regards ras

    PS Where will you go?

    Nuclear Testing at Bikini Atoll

Here is, a conversation at MyLot about Bikini Atoll The focus of this discussion is on how the United States of America deals with nuclear testing, and the inhabitants of islands, at the test sites.
