Opinion vs. Fact (Manipulation and Control)

This is a fact, many people call facts opinions while expressing a personal opinion.

A Fact is something that is witnessed a fact is something that can be measured, a fact can be tangible.

An Opinion is a personal belief. Calling an opinion a fact is disingenuous, and is a common form of controlling or manipulating another person and their ability to present their facts.

Manipulation and Control

If you have ever been in a conversation or in a court room trying to present information to the court, there are two ways to be manipulated and controlled.

  1. You can be silenced or dismissed, prevented from sharing an opposing point of view the only information presented or permitted to be shared is from one side and not from all points of view.

  2. You can be permitted to share, but the ears of the people to whom you address are closed or blocked, they appease your need to speak but what you say holds no weight in their ability to consider the facts.

These are two very dangerous forms of manipulation and control. They prevent the truth from being known.

  1. What if one is falsly accussed of doing so (i.e. manipulating a fact), how can s/he utilize the same principle in defending her /himslef?
Regardless of how ethical this may be, but when someone hits hard below the belt, rules change: The Rule is NO RULES!
hope to hear your opinion soon :)
